How can you pass on a title like Insta-Hate? The cover was intriguing and so was the synopsis, so I knew I had to check it out!

The storyline hooked me immediately. The tension between Alexandria and Arsen was palpable and it quickly became a page-turner, as I was eager to find out what the big “secret” was. I liked the characters, they were well developed and the history and familiarity between the two, even though Lexie didn’t remember it to start with, made for a story that you couldn’t help but root for them. The story is told in a first person perspective from both characters’ points of view.

There were certainly some surprises along the way, but the angst between Alexandria and Arsen got to be a bit much, especially since the characters are in their mid to late 30s. While I did enjoy the book, it wasn’t without its problems. The introduction of too many characters at one time left me a bit confused at times and the dialogue was clunky, several times you’re not sure who is speaking. I actually had to search characters’ names at times just to remember who they were, and then when I remembered who they are, they were so minor and trivial, they probably could have been edited out and no one would have been the wiser.

In summary, I did enjoy the book and I would recommend it to others, I just wish perhaps it was a little bit better edited; it would have made it easier to read, for sure. This is my first read by this author and I would definitely check out her other works.

When I finished this book I sat back and thought to myself... WOW!! I NEVER SAW THAT COMING!!!
There were twists and turns throughout the entire story and it totally blew me away!!
I was on the edge of my seat while reading this awaiting the next proverbial bomb to drop, I was NOT disappointed!!
I seriously couldn't believe the emotions that were ripped from me while reading this book. I loved the banter between the characters and made me believe that they were my friends and family!!
Definitely a must read. I can't wait to read for from this series!!
The title made me expect more hate, more heat than this story offered up. Even so, I enjoyed it and was glad of the HEA ending. In general, I dislike love stories featuring a baby aspect in the story line because they mostly imply that having a baby is what everyone should want. I liked that the author didn't take that approach and the adult characters behaved realistically with the children.
This was not only a love conquers all story it had so many facets to it that made the story line pull you in many directions. Alexandria has been thru a lot of s*%t. Let's just say that she isn't who she thought she was and she finds out something really bad happened in her past that caused her to lose her memory and the boy she once loved. But not all is lost. Arsen has been searching for Trinity for a long time. She just disappeared along with her family and his baby girl. He is a successful owner of an exclusive match making website but still grieves the lost of the girl who stole his heart years ago. But then he sees her one night at a party and confronts her only to find out she is not Trinity but Lexi. It's been years but she looks so much like her. Could this be Trinity's doppelgänger? I guess you will have to read to find out. This story is funny, serious and sad all wrapped in one. I really enjoyed the book.

The author didn't just put words on the page. She made me see and feel and experience the story. I laughed out loud, cried real live tears, and got more than a little worked up. But don't let that scare you away if you don't usually read this genre. The story is about more than just the heat. It has friendship and love, secrets and lies, and a twist. I am so ecstatic that this is part of a series! I'll be one-clicking the next book on release day!

This book has a great storyline that drew me in and kept me on my toes, wondering what was going to happen next as far as getting answers to my questions, the angst and the tension. Alexandria Ray is a famous romance author who is taking a step back from her career to reassess her priorities in life and enrolls in a college course called Psychology of Love, which has the guest lecturer Arsen Daniel, who runs and owns an algorithm matchmaking website that is very successful. For Arsen, Alexandria looks just like someone from his past who he's been looking for. For Alexandria, she's never met Arsen before but can't deny that there's something about him that draws her attention. The plot is clever, including the careers of the 2 characters and how the side characters all factor in as far as their roles when the truths start coming out. I liked both Lex and Arsen, but there were portions of the story that I wish had been elaborated more because of Lex's history and what she endured, where I wanted Arsen to acknowledge it and solidify certain things that she feared. Otherwise, I enjoyed how it all played out and wanted to see several parts in further detail.
